Campus Educators Seminar – Yad Vashem Training

happening on 1-8 Shvat 5780 / January 27-February 3, 2020.

What is it?
Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, is offering an education seminar specifically catered to Chabad on Campus Shluchim and Shluchos.  The program, an eight-day training held at Yad Vashem’s campus in Jerusalem, offering training on pedagogy and Holocaust history. Participants will earn a certificate in Holocaust Education from Yad Vashem.

Cost:
There is no cost to join the program; Yad Vashem will cover all expenses in Israel and COCI has secured a travel grant to cover the airfare. A $150 registration deposit to COCI is required and will be refunded upon the completion of the training. Cancellations after airfare tickets are purchased will not be refunded.

Dates (not including travel time):

1-8 Shvat 5780 / January 27-February 3, 2020
Reservations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

So far there is a committed group of 13, with 8 Shluchim and 5 Shluchos. This program is pending the formation of a group of approximately 25 Shluchim and Shluchos.
If we do not reach the required amount, all deposits will be refunded.
