The partnership between AEPi and Chabad on Campus continues to grow both at the local chapters and internationally. This past week the AEPi Foundation had the grand opening of their new offices in Bethesda, MD. All of AEPi’s partners were invited to attend this special occasion. Rabbi Dov Hillel Klein, (Northwestern University) and Rabbi Levi Shemtov (Washington D.C.) were asked to officiate at the hanging of the Mezuzos. Rabbi Klein spoke about the importance of having a Kosher Mezuzah and how the Mezuzah itself represents a strong statement of Jewish Pride.
“We let everyone know that when you reach our homes that we are Jewish and committed to our heritage and the Mitzvot. On Campus AEPi brothers often take that same stance and say that they are proud to be Jewish even when Anti-Semetic attacks happen on their campuses.” Rabbi Klein encouraged that all the local Chapters should take inspiration from the International office and affix Mezuzos on the doorpost of their chapter houses.
