STUDENT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY AT BUDAPEST JEWISH CEMETERY

Check out this opportunity for your students to connect with our heritage in Hungary!

Program:
Students ages 18-23 are invited to spend seven days in Budapest, from July 20th through July 27th, 2021. Over five days, volunteers will spend 25 hours helping restore one of the world’s oldest Jewish cemeteries. Late afternoons will involve touring both the city – Buda and Pest – and its Jewish aspects, a fun visit to the famous thermal baths, and a scavenger hunt. Evenings will include dinners with local community leaders and fun activities with local youth groups.

Cost:
Almost all land costs will be covered by the program, including accommodation, most meals, transport in the city, tours, and evening activities. Students will be responsible for traveling to Budapest and the accommodation, as well as entertainment after dinner.
