I never thought I was the kind of student who would end up at Chabad. In fact, for most of my time at Rice, I didn’t go to Chabad at all. I didn’t consider myself religious, and I assumed it was mainly for observant students. But that changed during my final year. I discovered that Chabad wasn’t just for the deeply religious – it was a place for any Jewish student looking for warmth, support or community.
