 What better way to start off the school year than setting the stage with a promise to be true to ourselves and be ambassadors of light on our campus! At our event, I saw people of all ages, nationalities, and religions interacting with our shluchim and students. People whose “grandmother is Jewish—on my mom’s side!” wrapping tefilin and ordering mezuzos… And best of all, a palpable sense of pride and togetherness and light in a place where it can be difficult to feel alone as a Jew.
