Every mitzvah brings goodness and light into the world and helps protect our soldiers on the front lines.

Even hundreds of miles away, you can make a difference. Take a moment to do one or more of the following:

Say a Prayer

Say a chapter of Tehillim / Psalms every day for the safety of our brothers and sisters in Israel.

It truly makes a difference.

Give Charity

Donate daily to a charity of your choice. Any amount works and the more often you give, the better.

Here are some organizations in Israel supporting soldiers and families:

Study Torah

Take a few minutes, or more, to study Torah every day.

Wrap Tefillin

If you are a college student who would like to commit to putting on Tefillin daily, you can receive a subsidized new pair of your very own Tefillin!

Stay Positive!

The Lubavitcher Rebbe teaches that a mindset of simcha, joy, breaks through all barriers of negativity. Though our hearts are full of pain at what Am Yisrael is going through, and we may be anxious of the future, the best thing we can do to strengthen the Jewish People right now is try to think positive and add light.

Some practical ways to remain joyful are:

Reduce or eliminate negative social media and news consumption
Focus on the unity Jews all over world are experiencing, the kindness spreading and, the support displayed by key leaders
Express your Jewish pride by wearing a Chai necklace, a Kippah, etc.
Surround yourself with like-minded, positive, and supportive people
