Updated Submission Date – Campaign in Response to UDel

We are all touched by the massive amount of support in response to the arson at Chabad at University of Delaware. Thousands of people have expressed their support by donating to the campaign to support Chabad UDel’s new building campaign.

To continue this fantastic momentum, we will be launching a project where students can express their solidarity on social media. Let us seize this opportunity to spread awareness about all of our campus Chabad Houses in the context of supporting Chabad UDel.

Our goal is to have this go viral so that the world can see that Chabad on Campus’ everywhere ARE ONE.

Due to multiple requests, we will be extending the submission date for this campaign. Please encourage your students to do this before this Wednesday, 13 Elul / September 2, at 4:00 pm ET.

Here is a suggested text to send to students:
In response to the arson attack at the UDel Chabad, we are organizing a campaign to show our solidarity across the world.

Please express your support!

  1. Please take a picture of yourself either in front of your campus Chabad House, on campus (where possible, if not, anywhere is fine), holding a piece of paper written in black marker that says: Chabad at “Your University” Stands with UDel Chabad! (i.e. “UCLA Chabad Stands with UDel Chabad!”)
  2. Bonus – Wear a t-shirt, sweatshirt, cap, etc. with either your Chabad branding or your university branding on it.
  3. The picture should be taken in horizontal mode on your phone and:
    • Posted on your social media with the following hashtags: #WeStandWithChabadUDel, #ChabadAtYourSchoolName, #ChabadOnCampus, #ChabadStrong, #ChabadCares
    • Emailed to [email protected] (all submissions will be made into a video)
  4. Please have all email submissions sent as soon as possible and before Wednesday, 13 Elul / September 2, at 4:00 pm ET.
