CHABAD ON CAMPUS TWO-YEAR SHLICHUS PROGRAM: APPLICATIONS OPEN!

Following the outstanding success of the pilot program, we’re excited to announce the opening of applications for the second round of the Chabad on Campus Two-Year Shlichus Program, launching for the upcoming academic year, Fall 2025 / 5785.

Over the past few years, participating Chabad Houses saw transformative results, with student participation rising by 61% and overall engagement doubling!

This two-year program places married couples with established campus Shluchim, offering them valuable real-world experience in campus Shlichus while supporting existing Chabad Houses in expanding their reach. The model is designed to benefit both parties: giving young couples a strong foundation for future Shlichus or career paths, and providing established Shluchim with meaningful support, without requiring a long-term commitment.

Chabad on Campus International (COCI) will review all Chabad House applications, coordinate grant funding, and facilitate training in partnership with Rabbi Herman.

Rabbi Aaron Herman, Shlichus Coach and Mediator, will guide each stage of the process, including interviews, job descriptions, contracts, onboarding, and ongoing support throughout the internship.

While COCI is working to recruit and match couples, we strongly encourage applying Shluchim to proactively recruit couples they believe would thrive on their campus. If you complete the application before identifying a couple, please be sure to update Miriam Minsky that a potential match has been found. Once the application is completed and a promising couple is found, COCI will coordinate the interview process with Rabbi Aaron Herman, and your application will be reviewed for grant approval.

What Shluchim say about the Chabad on Campus Two-Year Shlichus Program:

“We have seen a resurgence in student involvement over the past semester, and have been able to reach even more students… The feeling of unity, connection, and Jewish growth has been growing month by month.”

“The new shluchim have already, in one semester, more than doubled where we were recently…”
