COCI has travel grants available to assist you in bringing your students to Pegisha!
Travel grants for airfare or bus costs:
- Average travel costs* of less than $150 per student: not eligible.
- Average travel costs* of $151-$499 per student: grant covers 20%, up to $1,500 per Chabad House.
- Average travel costs* of $500+ per student: grant covers 25% of eligible travel costs per student, up to $3,000 per Chabad House.
Travel is only eligible for a grant if the student’s total payment (minus the $59 registration retained by COCI) is less than the ticket cost.The following expenses are not eligible for grants:
- Tickets above regular economy
- Travel to/from the airportShluchim/chaperones travel
- Tickets purchased by students
Tickets must be purchased by: 5 Cheshvan 5785 / November 6, 2024.
NOTE: Due to the increased expense of last-minute tickets, grants are only available for tickets purchased by this date (even though Pegisha registration remains open afterward).
Applications are due by 6 Cheshvan 5785 / November 7, 2024 at 1 PM ET. (Grants will be paid by December 15, 2024.)
