Last semester, Jewish life at Oxford College turned a new chapter with the opening of Chabad at Oxford, with programming run by Rabbi Mendel Lipskier and Chaya Lipskier. Already, the new Chabad center has held Friday night dinners, holiday events and educational programming, according to Lipskier.

As the spring semester gets underway at Houston colleges, Chabad at Rice is already seeing strong student turnout – from packed welcome-back events to quieter, deeply personal moments of connection that continue long after the crowds disperse.

As I left Poland on 28 December 2025, I realised that this week-long trip to Poland as part of a Chabad on Campus educational journey wasn’t just about history, it was a journey into my Jewish identity and a confrontation with the darkest depths of human cruelty. 

After years of fundraising, planning and construction, the Schottenstein Chabad House at The Ohio State University will officially open its doors to an estimated crowd of over 200 students, family members, donors and alumni with a celebratory grand opening, tour and ribbon cutting at noon Feb. 22.
