The first Chabad on Campus Onward Israel volunteer trip will begin next week!
Note: Onward has removed the 30-day application deadline. Encourage your students to apply for any future trip! This trip can be especially appealing as an extension program for students participating in Birthright.
Trip Dates
(All trips have 8 or 14 day options unless noted otherwise)
5 Iyar 5784 / May 13, 2024 (8-day trip only)
27 Iyar 5784 / June 4, 2024 (14-day trip only) – includes Shavuos in Yerushalayim!
19 Sivan 5784 / June 25, 2024
10 Tammuz 5784 / July 16, 2024
Based in Yerushalayim, students will volunteer daily to address work shortages resulting from reservist deployments and the exodus of foreign workers. Alongside volunteering, there will be extracurricular educational activities and a full Chabad on Campus Shabbos experience in Yerushalayim. Each group will be accompanied by Shluchim and/or Shluchos to ensure a Toichendik experience throughout the program. The trip is heavily subsidized by Onward Israel and Chabad on Campus International, and students will only be responsible for part of their airfare, some meals, and travel insurance.
We are looking to have Shluchim and/or Shluchos staffing the trip. If you are interested in staffing one of the volunteer trips, please be in touch with Yossi Witkes ASAP.
